The ARTIBIS Supply Chain Management (SCM) system manages the flow of raw materials, inventory goods, point of origin, point of consumption, and storage of goods and inventory. The system also issues SCM warnings and alerts for events that may interrupt supply chains or increase the cost of transport. Events such as weather, fuel price surges,
and public international policies may affect global and/or local supply chains. The objective of the software is to optimize transports, transport cost, and supply chain stability by enabling proactive supply chain management based on real-time data. SCM also manages logistics, distribution, consumption, and packaging. The SCM system also has seamless integration with ARTIBIS eProcurement.
