The ARTIBIS Public Safety module is primarily used to service criminal justice professionals such as district attorneys, police, city managers, and fire departments. It is also used by private citizens to communicate with government officials for reasons such as police complaints, suggestions on policy, and anonymous tips about public issues.
The system also maintains a database of digital evidence with security constraints and collaboration tools. In addition to document management, the system also manages audio, video, and still images.
